Handmade from a vintage Double Wedding Ring quilt, this soft bunny carries a story stitched long before today.

The Double Wedding Ring pattern dates back to the early 1900s. Its interlocking rings were meant to symbolize connection, partnership, and a life woven together. While the quilt’s exact year is unknown, its history lives on—visible in every hand stitch, every softened patch, every place where time has gently worn the fabric.

At La Lovie Reuse Lab, vintage textiles are transformed into lovies so their stories don’t end. Still beautiful, even with the broken parts—because they hold love… and time.

Each bunny is thoughtfully reinforced with visible top stitching, and select areas are backed with delicate lace fabric to help strengthen the original quilt and prevent further tearing—allowing this piece to be loved for years to come.

Finished with a handmade yarn pom-pom at the neck, each bunny has a soft, whimsical detail that makes it even more special.
