New 9 inches Waldorf-inspired dolls!
Each doll features a gender-neutral fuzzy hairstyle and a cozy one-piece romper, perfect for little hands and imaginative play. Suitable for ages 2+, they make the gentlest companions for your child’s everyday adventures. They give great hugs, they are loving, patient, and a great listener.
This one-of-a-kind Waldorf-inspired doll is lovingly slow-crafted with quality materials and durable stitches, ensuring it will last through years of hugs and tea parties. I hand-blush each doll’s cheeks with natural beeswax, which will gently fade over time, but you can easily refresh it using tinted beeswax like Stockmar.
Doll length: approximately 9 inches tall.
Doll face & Body: 100% Organic Cotton Imported from and made in the European Union. Oeko-Tex certified free of harmful chemicals.
Doll filling: 100% wool
Body: 100% cotton, the striped doll one is cotton/linen blended.
The doll will be carefully packaged in a muslin bag and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box.
Care Instructions:
If your doll gets dirty, it’s best to spot clean the area with a little wool-friendly soap. But if a full bath is needed, follow these steps:
- Add a small amount of wool detergent to lukewarm water.
- Let the doll soak in the soapy water for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the doll briefly in clean water to remove any soap.
- Gently squeeze out excess water with a clean, dry towel—avoid twisting the doll.
- Reshape the head and other parts if needed.
- Place the doll on a dry towel and let it air dry. You can speed up drying with a cool hair dryer or a fan.
- To re-apply cheek color, rub Beeswax Block Crayons on a cloth, then gently rub the cloth in a circular motion on the doll's cheeks.
Take the doll outside on a sunny day occasionally—sunshine is a natural antibacterial!
Due to their handmade nature, each doll is unique. All La Lovie dolls are handcrafted by Irene in her Pasadena, CA studio, with love and attention to every detail. It takes 7 to 8 hours to craft each doll.
